Karelon is not entirely a strange chaotic wasteland. Its alien forests are deep and dark and full of their own brand of dangers. Among the most powerful beings in those enchanted and entangling groves are the Karyads, sorcerous creatures capable of commanding host of demons, especially Saryads, Dryads, and Vinelings. Karyads both lead freebands as well as serve as their caster, making room for another warrior or rogue hero.
