Bloodflies are a common insect throughout Faelon, found wherever there is standing water and a little warmth. They are notorious for biting creatures and sucking their blood, though they also have no qualms about doing the same with carrion. Bloodflies have the annoying habit of growing as they eat, and if not stopped, can become very large, and hence, very dangerous. As dangerous as a truly engorged Bloodfly can be, a swarm of them is truly terrifying. A Bloodfly swarm can drain an animal of its life in moments, leaving nothing but a desiccated husk in its wake.
