Riktokar

Native to the Mershael homeland is the Tokaren, a reptilian creature that passes through three phases of life in which it is first aquatic, then terrestrial and then grows wings. Like the horses of Isarshael, it is an ideal mount and Mershael soldiers ride all three forms. A Riktokar is a land-based light cavalry trooper, patrolling the long border with the Traazorite Empire and skirmishing with the legions to keep them at bay.
