By far the larger number of Varanic priests perform their divine works without the benefit of armor or fighting skills. For their protection, the King assigns them a Sword of Vidunar. The Swords are trained fighters, sworn to guard the persons of their pastoral charges. Dangerous as fighters, they are also quite capable at making sure threatening personages stick around to face their Lord’s justice.
